Pompey claimed their second pre-season success on the bounce as they sealed a convincing 6-1 victory at Bognor.

Two smart finishes midway through the first half from Ryan Taylor and Miles Storey gave the Blues a two-goal advantage before then Alex Parsons pulled one back for the hosts.

But Danny Hollands restored the two-goal cushion on the stroke of half-time, lashing home a loose ball after Ricky Holmes’ free-kick was blocked.

Bradley Tarbuck made it 4-1 just before the hour mark as he was put clean through by Jack Maloney to slot home.

Andy Barcham then made it 5-1 as he slid home at the far post to turn home Jed Wallace’s low, driven cross.

Wallace then rifled home with a rasping finish after Patrick Agyemang and Barcham created the shooting opportunity five minutes from time to seal a comprehensive display.
