The keeper has received a recall having been left out of Martin O’Neill’s squad for the 2016 European Championship earlier this summer.

Forde is playing regular football again following a season-long loan switch to Fratton Park, where he has kept two clean sheets in four matches.

The 36-year-old has appeared for his country 24 times since making his debut in 2011.
