Pompey Reserves progress in Premier League Cup

Goals from Ben Close and Nicke Kabamba earned Pompey Reserves a 2-1 win against Everton at Westleigh Park.

The victory tonight ensured the hosts progressed into the knockout stages of the Premier League Cup.

Everton had taken the lead on 29 minutes.

But Close equalised soon after half-time and Kabamba then hit the winner.
