DONCASTER are continuing their busy summer of transfer activity.

That’s as Pompey’s League Two rivals continue to carry out their rebuilding jobs.

Rovers have taken their summer additions to five with the signing of Joe Wright as they rebuild their squad under Darren Ferguson.

The defender has agreed a move to the Keepmoat Stadium on a two-year deal from Huddersfield.

And he joins another defender in Leyton Orient’s Mathieu Baudry at the relegated side.

The O’s captain sealed a two-year agreement last week after he was told his deal at Brisbane Road was not being renewed.

Rovers have set a pace in the transfer mark this summer with the pair joining Ross Etheridge, Matty Blair and Tommy Rowe as done deals.

It’s also been a busy week for Luton Town after they completed a quick-fire double deal on Tuesday.

Dangerous striker Danny Hylton and defender Johnny Mullins have both signed two-year deals with Luton.

Hylton enjoyed a decent campaign with Oxford, bagging 14 goals to finish as their third-highest scorer.

Mullins made 51 appearances for the U’a as he played a key role in Michael Appleton’s side gaining promotion.

Cambridge United have made their move in the market as they added Accrington Stanley’s Pierre Mingoia to their ranks.

Mingoia becomes Shaun Derry’s first piece of summer business, inking a two-year deal after bagging a goal for Stanley in their play-off loss to AFC Wimbledon.

Carlisle are staying busy after they added York midfielder Russell Penn to their options.

Penn impressed against Pompey as his side picked up a shock win in April.

The Cumbrians have handed the out-of-contract player a 12-month deal and he joins Nicky Adams and Joe McKee as summer moves to Brunton Park.

Newport County have taken former Arsenal midfielder Mark Randall to Rodney Parade.

Randall joins the Exiles on a two-year contract after leaving Barnet.

Liam McAlinden links up with the steady stream of players moving to Exeter.

McAlinden moves to St James’ Park after being released by Wolves, where he made 19 appearances.

The striker is Exeter’s third summer signing, along with Robbie Simpson and Lloyd James.

Bury’s veteran striker, Ryan Lowe, has signed for relegated Crewe for the third time. Defender Josh Yorewith has moved to Crawley from Ipswich and Forest Green left-back James Jennings has joined Cheltenham.
