Pompey have completed the signing of former Swindon midfielder Simon Ferry.
The 25-year-old today made the switch to Fratton Park on a two-year deal after Guy Whittingham was given the go-ahead by the club board to snap him up.
Ferry was a mainstay of the Robins team which won promotion to League One in the 2011-12 campaign under Paolo Di Canio.
Last season, the former Celtic trainee made 50 appearances in their League One campaign, taking his career tally with Swindon to 175 appearances, nine goals.
However, with the County Ground budget slashed, he was one of a number of players released this summer, along with Pompey recruit Joe Devera.
