Pompey have completed the signing of defender Bondz N’Gala.
The former West Ham trainee arrives at Fratton Park on an initial month’s contract to boost Guy Whittingham’s options at the back.
The 23-year-old powerhouse will go straight into the Blues’ squad for the League Two curtain-raiser against Oxford tomorrow.
N’Gala did feature for Pompey in pre-season - playing 45 minutes in the victory at the Hawks.
Pompey assistant manager Steve Allen believes N’Gala will fit straight into Whittingham’s squad.
He said: ‘He’s a good player, very strong and very forceful.
‘Bondz is also a threat in both boxes.
‘Not only that but he’s a great boy and just the type of character that we feel is important to have at the club.
‘He will fit in well here.’
