Pompey have recruited free-agent Rommy Boco to bolster their right-back options.

Although, the 30-year-old has immediately been loaned out to the Hawks, who he is expected to feature for against Whitehawk tonight.

The Benin international played under Paul Cook at Sligo Rovers and Chesterfield, yet had been contracted to Indian side Bharat.

As a result, he has been training with the Blues to maintain his fitness since the summer ahead of the I-League campaign.

Now, after negotiating his release and receiving international clearance, he has been able to sign for Pompey until the end of the season.

Although able to operate in midfield, the versatile Boco has played for Cook before at right-back and will provide Ben Davies with competition.
