Pompey boss disappointed not to get victory

Wolves have given permission for Greg Halford to remain at Fratton Park until the end of the season.

The right-back is currently on loan until January 3 and is eligible to feature against Hull.

Now Wolves boss Mick McCarthy has given the green light for him to see out the campaign with Pompey.

Steve Cotterill told The News: I've spoken to Mick and we will be able to extend Greg's loan until the end of the season.

'I'm really pleased with that and really thankful to Mick and Wolves.

'He's done well. You don't get many goal-scoring right-backs and he gives us great versatility.'
