Gaffer for the day Harry Haskett shares his thoughts on Pompey’s game against Barnet tomorrow.

Firstly, I think he will definitely get promoted this season, we’ll finish in the top three.

Even so, the last two home matches haven’t been the best and it is quite important we beat Barnet or some of our fans may start losing belief.

I personally wouldn’t be panicking, but it puts unnecessary pressure on the players.

That first half against Morecambe was just awful, I have never seen an opposing team counter-attack like that, especially for the first goal.

The other two saw Nigel Atangana and Ben Davies off their men, but we did well to come back and that says a lot about the team.

Last weekend was flat, Accrington came here for the draw but didn’t necessarily park the bus like Crawley, while I think Josh Windass has a big future in the game.

Now we have Barnet and I have been beating myself up all week about what line-up I would choose.

I cannot bring myself to take the likes of Kyle Bennett, Gareth Evans and Gary Roberts out of the team, they are the creative force for the side.

The fact they have suffered one or two off days shouldn’t really mean they are dropped this early on.

Some fans see a footballer have one bad game and then label them as terrible players, but there has been such a big turnaround in recent years we need to be more settled.

I suppose Evans is most in danger, with Conor Chaplin the most likely to come in, but I would name an unchanged side. That would also mean keeping Matt Tubbs on the bench.

In fact, I’m going for a 4-2 success, I can see plenty of goals in this one. Mind you, fair play to Martin Allen for getting John Akinde to score 32 goals last season. Absolutely incredible!
