Adam Webster is definitely missing for Saturday’s visit of Wycombe.

The central defender is currently wearing a brace on his left leg after hobbling out of action at York.

Kyle Bennett is also highly unlikely to feature, having picked up an injury in the same fixture.

Christian Burgess remains a doubt with an ankle problem, while Gary Roberts has been sidelined after taking a blow to the head against Plymouth.

With defensive injuries, there could be a return to the squad for Jack Whatmough after 13 months out.

Joe Jacobson could return for Wycombe for their visit to Fratton Park.

The influential left-back has missed the past three games with an ankle problem, with Sido Jombati filling in.

He is now back in the reckoning to boost a side reeling from a lengthy injury list.

Definitely out are Sam Wood (knee), Paris Cowan-Hall (Achilles), Matt Bloomfield (broken arm), Luke O’Nien (knee) and Alex Lynch (thigh).

Danny Rowe is ready for a starting spot having proven his return from injury as a substitute in the week.
