Portsmouth Powerchair Football Club enjoyed a good day at the Reading Powerchair Festival.

The newly-formed team produced 1-0 victories over Sevenoaks and Reading, and drew 0-0 with Brighton, to progress to the semi-finals of the popular event.

Their progress was then stopped by Watford-based side Evergreen on penalties.

The festival was a precursor to the new South East Regional League, which begins in September, and the Pompey team will be seeking to build on this excellent performance.
