Former Pompey Academy graduate Lewis Stockford has signed for the Hawks.

The 19-year-old has penned a one-year contract with the Blue Square Bet South side after being released by the Blues at the end of last season.

Stockford featured for Pompey in their pre-season friendlies last summer but was unable to break into the first-team squad and was sent out on loan to Salisbury City and AFC Totton.

His release from Fratton Park ended his 11-year association with his home-town club.

As well as Stockford, the the Hawks have also swooped to sign Dover Athletic central defender Ed Harris.
