THE Portsmouth Supporters’ Trust is set to reveal details of its bid to save the club this morning.

A press conference will be held at New Place in Shirrell Heath at 11am for trust chairman Ashley Brown to present its bid document and the current status of the takeover.

Full details of how the trust plans to save the club, if it is accepted by the administrators, will be revealed and new introductions to the bid team are set to be announced.

The proposed new chairman of the club will be presented to the media, who will explain his role and the financial status of the bid.

The trust’s bid hangs on Pompey’s remaining top earners leaving the club, or reaching a compromise with administrator Trevor Birch, ahead of August 10.

Its bid must also satisfy Portpin, whose tabled CVA bid was accepted by creditors in June.
