On Friday, before Saturday's game at Peterborough, Pompey were fourth favourites with most bookmakers '“ just below Posh and frontrunners Sunderland and Barnsley.

Sky Bet gave odds of 7/1 for Pompey winning League One '“ but by this morning they had been slashed to 4/1, putting them ahead of Peterborough.

Posh are at 9/1, Barnsley are 3/1 and Sunderland are favourites at 9/4.

While most other bookmakers have Pompey winning the title at 4/1, Bet Victor has odds of 3/1 and Bet365 has 9/2.

Other betting markets

Pompey remain one of the favourites to be promoted from League One, with their odds as low as 5/4 on Sky Bet.

Ronan Curtis is 20/1 to be top goalscorer while Brett Pitman is 33/1.
