Blues fans are being urged to step forward and join the board of the Pompey Supporters’ Trust.
The Trust will launch its annual elections this summer.
They will be bidding to select seven candidates to serve on a two-year fixed term.
Members will then have until August 14 to decide which of those nominated they would like to represent them on the 12-strong board.
Of the current board members, Barry Dewing and Richard Sexton have decided against continuing for personal and professional reasons.
In addition, Matt Partridge, Ken Malley and Jo Collins are seeking re-election.
That leaves Ashley Brown, Scott McLachlan and Pam Wilkins remaining on the board for a second year.
It means the Trust is on the lookout for volunteers to help make up its numbers as it looks to continue acting in the interests of supporters.
The group has already proven to be a strong voice in dealing with the football club.
Recently, they met David Lampitt to discuss supporter concerns over season ticket pricing and structure.
The club eventually relented, extending the early bird deadline and introducing credit card facilities.
Those interested in joining the board must be nominated by a member of the Trust before July 14.
Voting papers will then be sent out to existing members by July 31, with voting closing on August 14.
The ballot will then be conducted among members by e-mail and post.
All ballots must be received by that date to count.
Only those who have been members before June 30 will be entitled to vote.
In addition, all members have been urged to ensure their contact details are correct.
