Have your say

Votes are starting to tot up for your News/Sports Mail Pompey player of the season.

And this year, you can present the award to the winner on the pitch at Fratton after you have had your say.

Blues greats like Mark Hateley, Guy Whittingham, Steve Claridge and David James have all won the prestigious trophy in the past, while Jamie O’Hara was last year’s winner.

Now we want your choice for the Blues’ best player of the 2010-11 season.

And this year, we’ve teamed up with Pompey to offer one lucky reader the chance to hand over the trophy to the player who comes out on top.

The winner will receive two tickets to the Blues’ final home game of the season against Norwich on Monday, May 2.

Before kick-off, you will present the trophy to the chosen Pompey star.

Everyone who casts a vote will be put into the competition draw.

To make your choice, click on the ‘Sports desk’ link at the top of this story, making sure you title your e-mail ‘Pompey player of the season’ and you include your chosen player, name, address and a contact number.
