Adam Webster is set to miss Pompey’s League Two clash with Leyton Orient tomorrow with a slight hamstring injury.

And the centre-back, who was sent off in the reverse fixture between the two sides on Boxing Day, is likely to be replaced in the Blues line-up by Christian Burgess.

Burgess was rested for Pompey’s 1-1 draw at Morecambe on Tuesday night, with boss Paul Cook preferring to pair Webster with Matt Clarke.

But with a heavy run of games coming up, Cook is reluctant to risk Webster in tomorrow’s clash with the O’s.

He said: ‘Adam Webster has got a slight hamstring problem that he is just feeling.

‘The likelihood is that Adam won’t start.

‘We will look at that in the morning but I wouldn’t imagine we will be doing anything to risk that with the games we have coming up.’
