Sarah Evans has led Gosport & Stokes Bay to a debut triumph in the Legg Bowl.
The event, which attracted 49 clubs, is a winter matchplay competition for ladies.
Organised by Dudsbury Golf Club, teams of four – one silver pair (handicaps of 20 or less) and one bronze pair (21-36) – are split between eastern and western divisions.
Evans and team-mates Jackie Urry, Carol Evans, Karen Brotherton, Donna Lloyd-Henry and Jean Ahearn all played their part in eastern division glory.
Their success earned a clash with the host club in the final, where they finished two up after two 18-hole foursomes battles in front of lady captain Annmarie Ferguson.
Skipper Evans said: ‘I’m very, very proud. I can’t thank all of the players enough.’
