Adams eyes better from Havant
Indy Laly scored twice, alongside James Speke, Tomasz Nowicki and Maciej Janiszewski in the South League premier division one encounter.
Though the scoreline suggests a comfortable Havant victory, it was only in the second half that they pulled away and Adams wants to extinguish those momentary lapses of concentration which keep occurring.

‘All our goals came from good, back-to-basics hockey and good passing interchanges.
‘It’s refreshing to see how well we can play when everything clicks.
‘We’ve learnt from this year that it only takes one sloppy error to end a season. We’ve got to iron out those glitches.’

Hide AdLike the previous week, they missed another four clear-cut chances, so decision-making in the final third is also an issue they need to sort out.
A minute’s silence preceded the game in remembrance of club stalwart Ian Nash who died recently.
The hosts took a fortunate lead on 13 minutes when a ball that hit a Havant foot was missed during the build-up and Laly converted at close range after good work from Craig Duffy.
They went 2-0 up when James Speke’s effort bounced through the Milton Keynes defence and into the far side of the goal.

Despite pressure from Milton Keynes early in the second period, Havant extended their lead with a fine team goal involving Chris Smith, Janiszewski, Speke and goalscorer Laly.
On 52 minutes, Havant clicked into gear and went on to score two goals in three minutes.
An excellent move started by Jonathan Pickett ended with Nowicki’s shot deflecting in off a defender’s stick.

Meanwhile, Indian hockey star Sandeep Singh will not be returning to the club this season.
Singh only played a sporadic part in the Indian Hockey League due to his back injury and has been advised to take a break from the sport.
‘I’m still keen to have Sandeep back in the future because of his attacking threat,’ said Adams.
However, Singh’s absence has given players like Smith the chance to shine at the back and he has now struck up a good partnership with Raj Laly.
