Havant slumped to the foot of South Clubs’ Women’s League division one.

The Barncroft Way outfit were beaten 3-2 by Epsom.

They fought back from 2-0 down thanks to goals from Katie Pugh and Nicola Wright only to throw it away by conceding again at the death.

Meanwhile, Guildford claimed a surprise 4-2 win over Woking – sending Havant tumbling into the sole relegation place.

The ladies’ second string beat Basingstoke 3-0 in Hampshire League division one, with Lou Davey, Laura Howe and Zoë Stride scoring.

In men’s action, Havant III rose out of the drop zone in Hampshire League division one as Guy Guppy and Matt Cover both netted doubles in a 4-3 over Andover.

And in division six, Jason Clark put United Services ahead at Salisbury III, only for the hosts to fight back and win 2-1.
