Big rivals Havant and Fareham will bid to maintain their unbeaten starts to the England Hockey League conference west division tomorrow.

The two clubs have netted a win and a draw from their opening two fixtures and sit just behind early pacesetters Whitchurch in the table.

Fareham, who are currently second, host University of Birmingham at Henry Cort (1.30pm).

The visitors were defeated on the opening day – 3-1 at the hands of Lichfield – but bounced back last weekend with victory over Bournville by the same margin.

Third-placed Havant, meanwhile, travel to Team Bath Buccaneers (12.30pm).

The hosts were victims of Whitchurch in their first league game but registered their first point last weekend in a 2-2 draw with Cheltenham.

Havant’s second string travel to London Academicals in Hampshire & Surrey regional division one.

The ladies’ first team are away at Woking in south division one and the seconds are also on the road at New Milton in Hampshire League division one.
