Latest match reports from the Portsmouth League...

Super shooting from Rebecca Johnson helped Cartek put an understrength Purbrook Passion to the sword in a 58-14 success in division two.

Missing several players because of holidays, the Purbrook outfit asked a number of youngsters to step up.

And while they never gave up, dominant defending from Abby Bowley and smart passing by Natalie Nimmo put Cartek in command.

Clare Searle and Pippy Dicken worked tirelessly for Passon but Cartek claimed the win to seal third spot in the table.

Elsewhere, Teamforce III capped a superb season by clinching second spot in division four.

Brilliant court play from Alice Turnball helped them defeat Abar Tigers 21-6 in their final fixture to secure promotion.

Zephra Atkins was outstanding in defence as she tipped and claimed interceptions, meanwhile Yasmin Cupples shot well from all areas of the circle.

Abar worked hard to stay in the game – with Steph Leonard putting pressure on her opponent and Grace Spencer working tirelessly attacking down court.

But Teamforce super display won them the game and completed a season in which they were only beaten twice.
