Videoserve hit new heights when they finished as runners-up in the Gosport and Fareham league last season.
They have, however, found it tough since then with injuries to key players taking their toll.
Current captain Sue Smith helped lead the team to their best-ever position and praised her squad.
She said: ‘I took over the captaincy role two and a half years ago and I am lucky to have such a lovely team of experienced, versatile players, who come together to enjoy their netball.
‘The team has worked its way up through the divisions and has spent the past five years hovering around the bottom of division one, avoiding relegation by the skin of our teeth on a number of occasions.
‘You can imagine our total elation at the end of the autumn-winter season when we took the runners-up spot in division one, achieving our highest league position to date.
‘For a team that doesn’t train together, we did exceptionally well.’
Unfortunately, this season wasn’t too good as the team suffered the loss of several players, Nicki McGeechan, Angie Oliver and Karen Miles all due to injury, and Nicki Oliver, who after years of playing in the team decided to call it a day and retire.
The team have pulled in many super subs to help them each week.
But the inconsistency has definitely seen them struggle, although they still managed to finish just below mid- table.
Captain Smith revealed a team name change is in on the horizon.
She added: ‘We would like to thank Malcom Dent of Videoserve Wedding Video Photography for sponsoring us.
‘Malcolm is going to continue to support us for the forthcoming season through his digital media company Malcolm Dent Digital Media so we will be changing our name to MDDM to reflect this.
‘We would also like to pass on our warm wishes to Clare Woodcock and Tom Elliott, and also to Nicki Oliver and Chris Coombes – both couples are due to get married in September.’
The team have been previously known as Flash R, Goldtops 3, and Fox & Sons 2. They have no founding members playing in the current team.
The origins of the team started nearly two decades ago, captained for the most part by Oliver.
