Tigers had their work cut out against an in-form Youngstars White with Leanne Whalley dominating in defence, making turnovers to allow her team to win 59-49 in week four of the Gosport & Fareham League division one.

Top-of-the-table Jets impressed with a super 81-38 score against recently-promoted Clifford Browns Catering who never gave up.

Aerial Angels clung on to their lead in a thrilling last quarter against Rubies, eventually winning 35-33.

Angels wing-attack Georgie Sims fed quick and accurate balls into her shooters.

In division two, GB Blades had a great game against US Pinks with a score line of 49-34.

Recently-promoted Antonios had a super game against Foxes, only losing 32-38 to the recently relegated side with newbie Jenny Baker playing out of position in defence but doing superbly.

GB Mavericks showed just why they are top and unbeaten with an outstanding team effort against recently relegated Jokers, winning 56-32.

Gators Gold are still looking for their first win since being promoted.

But Foxes seconds had a super game with Kim Pinder covering all areas of the court to make sure her team claimed all four points on offer winning 38-20.

In week five, division one leaders Jets only had six players but still managed a convincing win against Rubies 47-29, with Sarah Gazard donning the centre bib and working tirelessly.

Clifford Browns Catering had a battle on their hands against a full squad of Shooting Stars, who went all out to keep their second placed spot winning 65-33.

Youngstars White had a close competitive game with club members Youngstars Red who were on fire with super court play from Hollie Fletcher.

But Whites managed to claim the win 43-36.

Aerial Angels displayed super court play against six-player Tigers who gave 100 per cent but ran out of steam meaning Angels just won 48-42.

In division two, GB Mavericks kept up their winning streak with a 35-29 success over club members GB Blades with Hannah Rix having an outstanding game as wing defence.

US Pinks worked hard but could do little against the strong Antonios side with dominate defending by Roxanne Lihou, who claimed rebounds making sure her team won 46-32.

Fox and Sons first team did not allow Gators Gold to claim their first win of the season or even a point as they ended with a 42-19 win.

Jokers had a close and friendly game with Fox and Sons 2 who were drawing throughout until an injury left Foxes with six players, so Jokers just clinched the win 37-33.

Meghann Savage intercepted many balls to help her team to victory.
