Youngstars beat Angels as Jets are flying high

Youngstars White were in great form to beat Angels 40-35 in Gosport & Fareham League division one.

Leanne Whalley worked her socks off in defence as well as providing back-up.

Jets had to work hard for a 50-33 success against Youngstars Red.

Shooting Stars had a close game with Rubies.

Hannah Cooper defended superbly around the circle and created turnovers.

But Rubies won 33-29 and Tigers were unstoppable under the post as they beat Browns 55-37.

Georgie Hollis was strong in defence, claiming rebounds to allow her attack to convert into goals.

In division two, it’s all very close at the top with leaders Foxes beating second-placed GB Mavericks 58-28.

Antonios are chasing hard and they beat Gators Gold 45-21.

GB Blades did enough to stay safe as they won against Foxes II.

Chelsea Smee’s impressive shooting ensured her team won 49-37.

And Jokers were back to their usual selves with a close win against US Pinks 40-34.

In their final match of the season, Youngstars White knew they couldn’t finish any higher than third.

So they played versatility against club members Youngstars Red who took full advantage and recorded a 39-38 victory.

Stars had a great last fixture against Browns to finish as runners-up with Georgia Parsons unstoppable under the post to seal a 63-17 success.

Jets finished off the season with a victory over Rubies to claim their 32nd league win.

Rachael Chalmers had a great game to make sure her team won 47-20.

In division two, Foxes beat battling Gators Gold 47-12.

Issy Shirlaw worked tirelessly in defence for Gators, intercepting many balls.
