Jimmy Yeung is celebrating county success.
The Portsmouth Purple talent represented the city’s schools at the recent Hampshire Championship at Testwood College in Southampton.
And the Priory School ace served up a stunning display to carry off the years nine, 10 and 11 boys’ competition.
Aled Howell, the England Table Tennis Association’s southern region coaching officer, presented the silverware to Yeung.
Yeung will now move on to the national finals in Doncaster.
Fellow Priory School student Dylan Linsell was knocked out in the semis after a superb show.
Jacob Matuzivicius, another from the Priory School conveyor belt, and Sonny Brooks, of Milton Cross School, reached the quarter-finals of the year seven and eight boys’ competition.
Meanwhile, Erin Bell, of Northern Parade Junior School, was runner-up in the year five and six girls’ event.
