Asmir Begovic
Begovic is a highly-rated Canadian goalkeeper who signed a youth contract with Portsmouth in 2003.
He has represented Canada at the under-20 World Cup.
He has been touted by Portsmouth goalkeeping coach David Coles as being capable of becoming one of the best goalkeepers in the world.
Asmir has spent much of his career to date with various different clubs on loan, and although he has been on the bench for several first-team games he is yet to make his senior debut for Portsmouth.
At 21 years old Begovic will be hoping to break through into the first team sooner rather than later, however given James' dominance between the sticks at Fratton park he may be kept waiting.
