Ryan Williams has completed his switch to Fulham.

The Academy winger tonight signed a two-and-half contract to seal a £400,000 move to the Cottagers.

The 18-year-old burst into the Pompey squad this summer and was a pre-season regular under Steve Cotterill.

He went on to make six first-team appearances, all as a substitute.

Williams played as a triallist for Fulham’s reserves at Wolves last night before completing the move today.

@225 I agree with you completely on both points!!! - I think Bluelagoon is going off on a tangent unnecessarily, and these players loyalty is not mis-placed and should be APPLAUDED, they are also prize ASSETS .. To attract investment, or for BC to put he's hand in he's pocket, PFC need to offer a return for any potential investor. Selling our player assets on the cheap will only risk a very important future revenue stream in league status terms (ie. tv money) .. If our best players are needed to be sold eventually, at least get full market value, otherwise short-term it's robbing peter to pay paul, and next month we would of been no better off again financially, but been left with a far weaker team..

225 - Just a specific point re: the players mentioned. I understand that by FL rules they will not be disadvantaged in terms of finances and career by staying here, not even if PFC is liquidated. Depending on what Ipswich was offering them, they might well be better off. I don't know what their motives were, but they are already much better paid than the nurses and ambulance drivers and carers and lots of other people who do really important jobs. They are footballers. entertainers and in fact (though the word is rather harsh) sporting mercenaries. So they deserve headlines "throughout the UK and beyond"? A tiny little bit of perspective lacking there, I think.

Why can't we as 'log-inners' start a brand new post on this forum ?- --- Why, for instance is every topic on Pompey covered in a negative fashion by so-called journalists on The News. I guarantee you that the Portsmouth Evening News in the sixties would have kicked up such a fuss about this present fiasco and things would get sorted. I ADMIRE HENDERSON AND PEARCE AND WARD -- This is the other side of greed ! They deserve headlines throughout the UK and beyond. ---- Electric Arms Dave

Matty..........I vill say this only once............they can sell without the court order but only with the agreement of the petitioner. And that's only if all monies raised is used to pay the debt. They cannot use the money to pay players. HMRC has first dibs as THEY are the petitioner................

I concur with what the imposter has stated about the payment to HMRC thats correct it is possible. The freezing of our bank account doesnt stop us from trading! It obviously restricts hugely, but if you were a small business with cash around you would still be in a position to trade.

At Prime Minister's Questions today: Penny Mordaunt MP: 'If a local supermarket closes down, another quickly takes its place. If Portsmouth Football Club closes down, the Pompey fans will not be content with buying their season ticket from Southampton. Will the Prime Minister add his voice to mine in calling for HMRC to meet with the club so it recoups the tax it is owed, that our club survives and that the fans have their chance to become its owners?' David Cameron MP: ‘I will certainly do that and I think she’s absolutely right to raise this issue. Knowing one or two Pompey fans, I can completely understand the idea that they could go and support Southampton is completely incredible and we must do everything we can to keep this friendly rivalry going.’

A fee was agreed for a duo Portsmouth players – believed to be keeper Stephen Henderson and the versatile Joel Ward – but the players’ wage demands are understood to have been too high.

Good luck Ryan. Absolutely delighted only going 0-1 down. I honestly belive that a new owner is on the back burner coming this month. AA & DL I don't give a to$$ about your lack of statements if you are both sorting PFC future out. PACK THE PARK. PUP.
