GALLERY: Davis: I'm fighting for my future
Sean Davis toasted his Pompey matchwinner and admitted: I'm fighting for my career.
The midfielder climbed off the bench to become the unlikely hero after the Blues had surrendered a two-goal lead to Blackburn.
Davis struck 11 minutes from time to clinch a dramatic 3-2 victory, Tony Adams' first ever at Fratton Park.
The 29-year-old's star turn comes at an uncertain time in his career.
He is one of 15 players out of contract in the summer, with Pompey insisting nothing will be decided until the end of the season.

That situation has left the former Fulham man's footballing future in limbo.
And he revealed the determination to earn the right to remain at Fratton Park drives him on.
He said: 'I've always been a fighter. Now I'm fighting for my career.
'That's definitely how I see it. I'm out of contract in the summer so I'm just trying to work hard and see what happens.
'The club have yet to approach me about a new contract and if that doesn't happen I'll just wait until the end of the season and see what happens.
'I'm not thinking about talking to any other clubs from January. At the end of the day I'm a Portsmouth player, I've always wanted to be a Portsmouth player. Hopefully, maybe, I'll get a new deal at Portsmouth – but you have to speak to the owner about that or the manager.
'I haven't really asked anyone about it, I just get my head down and work hard and hopefully it will all turn out good for me.'
