POMPEY host Leeds at Fratton Park on Saturday.

Michael Appleton’s men will be looking for three points to boost their bid for Championship survival.

Defeat at Barnsley last weekend coupled with the points deduction has piled on the pressure.

Liam Lawrence is expected to miss the game, with his latest calf problem.

The Blues skipper is targeting the Middlesbrough match on March 3 for his return.

Kelvin Etuhu, Luke Varney and David Norris are all injured while Kanu and Greg Halford are also struggling.

Appleton will, though, be able to call on West Brom man George Thorne, who is confident he will get better and better with match time at Pompey.

In attack, following Dave Kitson’s red card at Barnsley, Marko Futacs and Erik Huseklepp may be tasked with carrying the goal threat.

But can Pompey triumph in adversity and see off Neil Warnock’s Leeds?

Post your thoughts below.

Sorry guys, but if Erik does go up to Brum today, I cannot see anything other than a defeat, or a hard earned Point for us!!! We have very little in the way of fit goalscorers as it is, so although it may make 'short term' financial sense to ship out a high-ish wage earner, Is it really a 'long term' cost effective excercise???

OK! I think I have it figured out. (In theory anyway) I can re-assign the ticket to another "member" when I buy it online. If you know someone that needs the ticket for sat let me know via email at "Pompey62@gmail.com" First come first served.

PompeyBlue1962 that is true support. How about a few other ex-pats doing similar.

Apparently on facebook, word is that the Leeds fans will be bringing torches to the ground after the floodlight failures last year. Looking forward to some friendly banter!

@ 3 PompeyBlue1962 , What a nice idea about a ticket for someone who cant afford to go, there are many true fans who simply can not afford to go in these hard times, not sure how to go about it though..PUP

Imposter; This is Pompey! League 1 won't be so bad if it has to be. I remember dreaming of getting promoted into the old 3rd div. "It is better to rule in hell than to serve in heaven" For those that don't know. That quote is from John Milton's Paradise Lost. Both the poets name and the poems title seem fairly appropriate these days.

Right! It is time to step up. I can not make many games due to the fact that I am in Scandinavia. To do my part, and I challenge other ex-pats to do the same, I am willing to pay for a proxy to go in my place. Preferably someone that can not afford the ticket. I am not a rich guy so I can only afford to do this for one person per home game. I am not sure how to go about this, what with the ID requirements etc to pick up tickets. Any help here would be appreciated. I can buy tickets online in my name but how does someone else pick them up etc.

Don't wish to be all doom and gloom but I can't see us scoring enough goals to stay up. We're not making enough chances...............so bring on Div 1. That's if we've still got a club by then of course.
