Kanu
'King' Kanu will forever remain a hero in the hearts and minds of the Pompey faithful.
It was his winning goal against Cardiff that enabled Pompey to win the FA Cup for the first time in 69 years.
Let's not forget, he also scored the winning goal against West Brom in the semi-final as well.
Pompey's top scorer during the 2006/07 season, Kanu had to settle for a bit-part role last season.
But whenever he was called upon he nearly always performed.
When Kanu first signed in the summer of 2006, many were disappointed Pompey hadn't instead signed a bigger name up front.
But Pompey had, the fans just didn't know it yet, and Kanu rewarded Redknapp's faith in signing him by scoring 12 goals the following season, becoming Pompey's top scorer.
Although he didn't hit as many last season, fans were still entertained by the Nigerian's majestic touch and unpredictable skills.
