Late goal rocks Reserves
A last-gasp penalty handed Arsenal victory over star-studded Pompey Reserves at West Leigh Park last night.
After their opening day win at Fulham, Pompey's second string slumped to a disappointing 1-0 defeat thanks to a last-minute penalty, won and converted by Jay Simpson.
Coach Paul Groves included Kanu, Noe Pamarot, David Nugent and fit-again Glen Little, who, having spent much of the season so far on the treatment table, surprised everyone with his whole-hearted effort over the 90 minutes.
