Marc Wilson
Promising young defender who recently signed a new three-year deal at the club.
Allocated the number 35 shirt last year, Marc Wilson is now ready to make the step up to the Premier League.
Originally a midfielder in his early Manchester United youth days, he was slowly converted into a central defender where his performances excelled as a result.
Already a regular in Pompey's reserve squad, Wilson has made a number of appearances for the Republic of Ireland at youth level.
The 21-year-old has also captained the reserve side on some occasions.
Wilson has had previous loan spells at Yeovil, Bournemouth and Luton Town. While at Bournemouth, Wilson managed to score three goals.
He will be hoping that he'll get given his chance later this year.
