Papa Bouba Diop

The man nicknamed 'The Wardrobe' had a massive impact at the start of his Pompey career after joining from Fulham on last year's August deadline day.

The towering Senegal international established an immense partnership with ex-Pompey star Sulley Muntari, which helped Pompey win a record number of times on the road last season.

Since signing, Diop has been a regular squad member and is nearly always in the starting eleven.

The 30-year-old has recently been playing out of position in the right-midfield berth, but insists he's happy to put up for the benefit of the team.

Having fallen out of favour at Craven Cottage, Redknapp was quick to snap up a player he had let slip out of his grasp three years earlier when Fulham intervened.

And with his battling performances, it's easy to see just why he is so highly regarded.

Position: Centre-Midfield
