Redknapp looking forward to Pompey clash
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp was relishing the prospect of facing Pompey in the FA Cup semi-final after his side produced a second-half comeback to see off Fulham.
Spurs were trailing to Bobby Zamora's opener at White Hart Lane but David Bentley and Roman Pavlyuchenko came off the bench to score before Eidur Gudjohnsen booked a place at Wembley.
It is nearly two years ago since Redknapp won the competition with Pompey and they have plummeted since his departure - but he has taken Spurs from relegation candidates to top-four contenders and is within sight of cup finals in back-to-back seasons.
'Avram Grant texted me and said he hopes we win every game except the semi-final,' Redknapp said.
'I know some of the boys there like Hermann Hreidarsson, King Kanu, Richard Hughes and David James. It'll be good to see them.
'It'll be a funny day, a strange day. They have great support and it'll be a great atmosphere. It will be great for them. They need something to lift their season.'
Victory came at a price for Spurs, as Vedran Corluka limped off with an ankle injury and will require a scan to determine the extent of the damage.
Wilson Palacios played despite suffering a groin tear on the eve of the game, while Pavlyuchenko was a doubt with a tight hamstring.
Sebastien Bassong also picked up a knock.
