Ticket arrangements for Saints game are revealed
TICKETS for Pompey’s trip to Southampton in April will go on sale next week.
The club will receive an allocation of 3,100 seats for the match at St Mary’s Stadium on Saturday, April 7, which kicks off at 1pm.
Arrangements will mirror those put in place by the clubs and Hampshire Constabulary during the last derby day at Fratton Park.
Supporters who purchase match tickets will also be required to purchase coach travel via Lucketts Travel.
As a condition of entry, travelling on an official club coach will be the only way to gain access into St Mary’s Stadium.
Supporters are guaranteed coach travel once a match day ticket has been purchased. Match tickets will only be issued to supporters once they are on board their coach.
The tickets will go on sale on Monday in phases, with season ticket holders getting the first chance to snap them up before they go on general sale later in the month.
Nick Byrom, Pompey’s commercial director, said: ‘Following the successful operation here at Fratton Park in December and discussions with Hampshire Constabulary, we are working closely with our colleagues at Southampton to ensure that enjoyment and safety at the game are the priority for our visit to St Mary’s.
‘We hope that this will provide a safe environment for all supporters, enabling them to enjoy the drama on the pitch without any concerns.’

Friday, February 3, 2012 at 09:12 AMSorry I'll have to give this match a miss. Travelling down from the Bath area to watch Pompey @ saints is just to much trouble now. Why could the park and ride scheme, which has worked over the past decade been utilised, and I do not see why any supporters should be hearded like undesirables cattle by the authorities to control a few hoolagan's, for this one game.

Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:50 PMIts just the news taking the pl55 as usual. Dave's them getting off there BIG FAT AR5ES and finding the silent ones and harassing them into GIVING US SOME ANSWERS. I have been calling on people to use this forum all day to ask the news why they aren't doing this. By the way where's tiger? He who trust AA BC DL to sort it out! He's gone as quiet. Maybe he is one of them! Maybe he has typed so fast he has disappeared into a parallel universe. I hope he hasn't drunk himself to death. I know he's meeting wok and kok trying 2 save us, as those "stupid Pompey fans trying to do something 2 save the club r dreamers. And when he does just think he can tell us 4 days on end how he told us so!

Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 10:17 PMThis is an utterly irrelevant news item. By the looks of it Portsmouth FC as we know it will have long since ceased to exist. This match is unlikely to take place and is the very least of the clubs worries. Don't think there's any way out of it this time.

Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 09:27 PMAs a Saints fan living in Southsea I, like thousands of other Reds, don't want to see Pompey go under. We just want bragging rights just like you do. Hampshire deserves two great football league clubs. Saints and Aldershot. Sorry couldn' resist that one I would happily give a donation to a fighting fund to help you wage your battle for survival. I love this city and have two sons who are season tickets holders at Fratton park. Ignore the idiots and good luck

Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 08:33 PM"Travelling on an official club coach will be the only way to gain access into St Mary’s Stadium." - Isn't that restraint of, well, something? Have a look at Duleep Allirajah, "Watching football is not a crime" on the web.
