A pitch inspection will be held at Victroia Park tomorrow at 8am

Pompey’s League One trip to Hartlepool is in doubt due to torrential rain in the north east.

A pitch inspection has been called for 8am tomorrow morning to see whether the Monkey Hangers’ Victoria Park pitch is playable.

More rain is forecast for the area before tomorrow’s 3pm kick-off, leaving groundstaff working hard to ensure the pitch is in the right condition.
