Pompey v Sunderland preview
Avram Grant will be waiting anxiously on the fitness of Anthony Vanden Borre and Prince Boateng before naming his side to face Sunderland.
Vanden Borre limped off against Man United with a hamstring strain and looks certain to miss the clash, but Boateng could recover in time from an ankle knock.
John Utaka (hamstring) missed the Manchester United trip, while Hermann Hreidarsson (Achilles) is doubtful and Aaron Mokoena (knee) is struggling.
Kanu and Tommy Smith are available.
Boss Avram Grant said: 'Manchester United created one chance in the first 40 minutes, although they started the first 10 minutes very well.
'They didn't create chances, although they passed the ball very well but we created more chances.
'But scoring goals is the name of the game. We created enough chances to lead 1-0 in all of the past three games and we lost all of the games.
'We need to take our chances and we need to do it against Sunderland.
'We will continue to fight and I still believe we can stay up.'

Steve Bruce has indicated he will make changes for his team's trip to Pompey tonight.
Kieran Richardson is fit again after a leg injury, while Anton Ferdinand is in contention for a place after an ankle problem.
Darren Bent has gone three games without scoring, but is set to continue up front alongside Kenwyne Jones. That means Benjani will be on the bench.
Steed Malbranque will come into the side to replace the injured Jordan Henderson, who is out with an ankle problem.
Black cats striker Kenwyne Jones said: 'I haven't scored for a while but, thankfully, I was able to get one against Wigan. We haven't won in the past 12 or 13 games so it would have been a relief to get three points in the bag.
'We were much better in the second half and perhaps should have got the win, but it wasn't to be unfortunately.
'We'll go again at Portsmouth and hopefully get our rewards.
'We're getting into a pattern of playing well in the second half of games but not starting too well.
'If we can sort that out then I'm sure we'll get better results.'
