Ryan Moore is back in the saddle as Contributer aims to continue his rapid rise at Goodwood on Friday.

Ed Dunlop has entered his three-year-old High Chaparral colt in the Casco EBF Cocked Hat Stakes – the feature race on day two of the track’s May Festival.

West Sussex jockey Moore partnered the Irish-bred talent to victory in the Dubai Duty Free Golf World Cup EBF Conditions Stakes at Newbury last month.

Graham Lee then steered him to second spot in the Group 3 betvictor.com Dee Stakes at Chester back on May 10.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained Magician was too good for him that day.

But with Moore back in the plate for Friday’s assignment, connections are eyeing a memorable triumph on the Downs.

Contributer is the second-highest rated contender among the eight entries for the one-mile, three-furlong £40,000 Listed battle.

Jeremy Noseda’s Fantastic Moon heads the hopefuls.

He is rated just 1lb higher than Moore’s mount at 102.

However, having claimed the Group 3 Candy Kittens Solario Stakes at Sandown last season, Fantastic Moon will carry a 5lb penalty.

Of the other potential rivals, the Sir Henry Cecil-trained Disclaimer is bidding for his fourth straight win.

Elsewhere on the card there are plenty of local entries to keep the Goodwood faithful on the edge of their seats.

Patching handler William Knight has entered Sweet Martoni in the Thakeham Homes Fillies’ Stakes (4.55pm).

Pulborough’s Amanda Perrett is set to send Saucy Minx to post in the same race, which has also attracted Dunlop’s recent Newmarket winner Auction.

Philip Hide, who is based in Findon, has pencilled Rocky Reef in for the Reheat Stakes at 2.35pm.

Meanwhile, Hayley Turner has been booked to ride Michael Bell’s Divergence, who she partnered to Newcastle glory last time out, in the Air BP Stakes (3.10pm).
