ALL aboard the Fox Appeal ‘rollercoaster’.

The five-year-old son of Brian Boru will lay down his Grade 1 Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle challenge at 2.40pm this afternoon.

A best-priced 25/1 for success, Fox Appeal will face 19 rivals in the three-mile race.

After kicking off his hurdling career with victory at Fontwell in November, the gelding has gone on to win three of his four starts.

But his progress to a rating of 138 has not been without alarm.

Hampshire trainer Emma Lavelle has likened watching the talent carelessly negotiate his obstacles to riding a theme park attraction.

Last month she warned readers of The News to buckle up for his return to action at the Festival.
