Goodwood have once again backed charity Tickets For Troops.

The West Sussex course has pledged 500 tickets to the cause, joining racecourses across the country in a total donation of 40,000.

The free admission is for their opening meeting of the season on Saturday, April 30.

Top jockey Richard Johnson, who is a patron of Tickets For Troops, said: ‘I’m delighted to see the level of support.

‘It’s an incredible charity that aims to go some way to recognising the inspirational job that our country’s forces do every day of their lives.

‘Hopefully our being a part of it goes some way to saying thank you.’
