Princess Eugenie was the centre of attention when she attended Goodwood’s Ladies’ Day to present the prizes after the Magnolia Cup.

Eugenuie, youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, appeared in the winners’ enclosure following the charity celebrity ladies’ race, which has now raised more than £1m for charity in the five years it has been running.

The race itself was somewhat chaotic – four of the ten runners went off too early and didn’t see the starter try to flag them back.

The race was won by Camilla Henderson, daughter of trainer Nicky Henderson, on Hi Fidelity. The jockey and other connections all picked up their prizes from the princess, with Lord March and representatvies from race sponsors Artemis also present.
