JAMIE DALY has branded the visit of bottom-club Weybridge Vandals to Gosport Park as a must-win game (2.30pm).

Gosport & Fareham have found life in London League south west division two tough after last season’s promotion.

They have won only three of their 14 matches so far.

And now sitting third from bottom, a win is vital in their bid to avoid instant relegation.

The visitors beat Gosport & Fareham earlier in the season and director of rugby Jamie Daly has urged his team to concentrate on their own game.

‘It’s not about Vandals and where they are, it is about us and how we play,’ said Daly.

‘This is a very important game and one we must look to win.

‘We have been reminding the players of how poor they were when we played Vandals earlier in the season.

‘It was a game we could have won and now I am expecting the players to prove themselves.

‘We have to show we can play rugby against any team and not just turn it on against top sides and in derbies.’

The home side make four changes, plus a positional switch.

Pat Mulholland moves to the centre to replace Sam Foster (hamstring), with Alex Herron coming in on the wing.

Twenty-year old Alex Duncombe replaces Richard Lloyd at outside half, Matt Flower is back at number eight, while Ash Burton will reappear at prop.

Gosport & Fareham: Dugan Wayne; Thorne, Mulholland, Moggeridge, Heron, Duncombe, Dugan Wes, Burton, Clark, Whitehead, Woodford, Pollard, Snowden, Reynolds, Flower, Pickett, Barnes, Lloyd.
