Petersfield are likely to be relegated from London south west three following their 30-24 loss at the hands of Ellingham & Ringwood at Penns Place.

The defeat leaves them fourth from bottom, and a re-organisation of the leagues at the end of the season could mean they drop into Hampshire One next term.

A poor first half left the home side chasing the game, and despite tries from Andy Barnes, Harry Green and Simon Godber, with Barnes adding a penalty and three conversions, it wasn’t enough to save them.
