The 25th South Coast 7s tournament proved a big success at Portsmouth Grammar School (PGS).

The overall victory went to Wellington College, from Berkshire, who played some fantastic rugby, winning every one of their matches.

Plate winners were St Paul’s College, Sunbury, and Millfield School secured victory in the bowl.

Player of the tournament was Conor Dolan, from Wellington College.

The PGS team performed well, with a 33-14 success against Bryanston, from Dorset, one of their highlights.

Plenty of top-class rugby was played, with the competition showing why it has a reputation for being a springboard for top international talents.

England Six Nations hero Jonathan Joseph was player of the tournament in 2009.
