MIKE TALMONDT wasted little time to register a massive break in the second week of the Portsmouth & District Winter League season.

Talmondt rattled up a 98 break as three time champions Craneswater A burst the Waterlooville bubble with a 9-3 success at Aston Road.

Pedro Ferguson also made a 64 to draw with Steve Wilson, then Andy Boulton sank a 52 for a win after Steve Cole had opened the scoring.

Copnor A are still top after an 8-4 win against Craneswater Z.

Two late doubles by Scott Compton and Jon Sunderland decided it.
