The only girl currently competing on the junior circuit then defeated rankings leader Shane Kearns (Swindon) 2-1 in the last-four.

White was delighted to go on and close out the victory and is hoping it will be the start of more success ahead for her.

She had to hold her nerve in the final when it became tense.

White said: ‘I was very happy to finally win my first Cuestars event and I hope that there are many more to come.

‘I played well all day, not losing a match and coming top of my group.

‘The final was quite tight but I managed to keep my nerve and get over the finish line.’

Ellis, 12, who recorded his highest break of 38 in his group match against Chloe’s brother Callum, overcame Arnie Petty (Fordingbridge) 2-0 in his semi-final.

Three weeks previously, Chloe made an impressive debut on the World Ladies Billiards & Snooker circuit in the LITEtask UK Ladies Championship at the Northern Snooker Centre, Leeds.

She lost 3-0 to Evans – the eventual tournament winner, beat Ronda Sheldreck (Ireland) 3-0 and lost 2-1 to Laura Evans (Wales).

The Swindon tournament was her 15th Cuestars outing.

She made her debut in Bournemouth in December, 2014.

White is also a regular in the Portsmouth Snooker League.

Kearns tops the rankings but Ellis is seven points back.

Two points further adrift are siblings Callum and Chloe White in joint third.

On the gold tour and the day before his 17th birthday, Chloe’s boyfriend Mark Lloyd, the English Under-18 Champion, was knocked out 2-0 in the quarter-finals by 12-year-old Aidan Murphy (Bristol).

The fourth leg of 10 is at Frames Sports Bar, Coulsdon, on Sunday, December 4.
