Tim Dunkley has been signed up to run sessions for boys and girls aged seven to 19 from 4.30pm to 6.30pm every Wednesday from next week.

Dunkley has been coaching for nearly 10 years and is heavily involved with Cuestars, an organisation that runs tournaments across the south of England.

He said: ‘The south coast has become a hotbed for junior snooker and I’m keen to help the next generation progress to regional and national events.

‘We will use a tried and tested method that gives the youngsters some coaching and enables them to play matches in a unique league format.

‘But the way it’s structured means no-one is committed to turning up every week and new players can join at any time.’

Interested players are urged to ring the club on (023) 9225 6808, message their Facebook page or email [email protected] to register.

Complete beginners are welcome. The cost is £4 for club members and £5 for non-members.
