Jordan Winbourne has retained his crown as the best player in the Gosport & Fareham League.
The 17-year-old potting machine saw off Stoke Snooker Club’s Paul Foster 3-1 in the semi-final.
He then took care of Mayfair’s Chris Robinson 4-0 in the final of the individual scratch.
Along the way the Stubbington Hawks cueist delivered an almost faultless display of snooker – knocking in a series of big breaks.
His tally in the two matches included breaks of 71, 58, 55, 48, 39 and 34.
It is the second year on the trot he has lifted the much-prized trophy – and only the second time he has entered the competition.
Earlier in the day, Mick Jurd lost out in a final-frame decider against Robinson who was on good form knocking in breaks of 43 and 38 in the final.
But even that wasn’t enough to secure a frame against Winbourne.
On two occasions the talented ace made winning clearances under pressure.
