Portsmouth Northsea’s relay teams enjoyed stunning success in the Hampshire Championships recently.

The club won five gold medals, a silver and a bronze across a range of ages and events.

Will Whitlock, 13, Alex Edge, 13, George Ragg-Griffith, 13, and Harry Watson, 14, took top honours in the 13-14 years 4x50 metre freestyle relay and a silver in the 4x50m medley relay.

In the 11-12 years section, Liam Budd, 11, Carl Blastique, 11, Joseph Packham, 12, and Jack Goodwin, 11, came home with the 4x50m medley title.

Goodwin, Budd and Packham won a second gold, alongside Oliver Kettle, in the 4x50m freestyle relay.

The quartet of Luke Robins, 15, James Corrigan, 18, Oliver Jermy, 17, and Will Condron, 19, reigned supreme in the 800m freestyle relay in the team open age group.

Finally, Jackie Knight, 16, Lizzie Hopkins, 16, Emma Trotman, 15, and Kelly Small, 16, were crowned 800m freestyle team open champions.

There was also a podium place for the 800m freestyle relay open age group team of Sarah Hughes, 17, Megan Owen, 17, Lauren Pedwell, 16, and Helen St John-Mosse, 17, who picked up bronze.
